SORBA is doing a big trail work day from at 8:30-1:00. REGISTER through their website to join, or come at 1:30 to say HI and THANKS to their directors!
👉We will meet at Lake Powhatan parking area at 1:30- ride at 2! ....BYO Bike, helmet, gear and snacks.
FREE RIDE / no planned course. Afterwards we will have a tailgate party, swim in lake Powhatan, and then head to Bent Creek Community Park for live music, food trucks, and drinks!
After party AT THE PARK: $10 to GreenWorks, LIVE BANDS playing 4:30-10:30. (street side parking off of Idlewood) ...We will likely arrive between 4:30-5:30.

To honor the ONE YEAR anniversary of Hurricane Helene, we are asking friends and family to make donations to the many projects that continue working to rebuild our area!

👉ASHEVILLE GREENWORKS is going to receive donations at Bent Creek Community Park on Sept 27. They continue to help clean up our rivers and creeks post-Helene. All their projects and a link to donate can be found at www.ashevillegreenworks.org

What is the ride going to be like?
Free ride, no guides or route! Choose your own! Create your group or join in. Just fun! BYO bikes, helmet, gear etc.
Will there be aide stations ?
No, riders are expected to bring their own water bottles, safety equipment, snacks, and tube/tools in case of a flat.
Can I invite others to join? Are kids and families welcome?
Absolutely! The more the merrier! You can also feel free to camp at Lake Powhatan if there is space. Reservations must be made separately through them.
Besides biking, what other activities or entertainment will be available at the event?
Tailgate, swim at Lake Powhatan, then after party at Bent Creek Community park! Live music, food trucks and more!
